PHP Training

Courses

We offer the following types of PHP training:

• Bespoke course - tailored for your exact needs at a time, date and location of your choice. You may choose from our predefined modules or ask for additional material (subject to our agreement).
• Scheduled course - covering a pre-defined set of content at date and location of our choice. These are generally cheaper (less preparation on our behalf, and normally more delegates).

Why choose us?

Pale Purple provides training for PHP programmers; we're all Zend Certified Engineers, and only offer training on technologies we use on a near-daily basis - in other words, we won't teach you something we're not familiar with - so you should be able to ask us detailed and probing questions and get an answer.

We develop real-world PHP based applications - using our experiences from this, we can offer relevant advice and tips helping to ensure that you get the best possible experience.

We aim to have a 5:1 or better delegate:trainer ratio, and delegates should expect to spend up to 50% of their time undertaking supervised practicals. Our materials are flexible enough to allow us to cope with delegates of varying ability and speed.

Our training is delivered in an interactive manner, with exercises and examples to help explain the essential concepts. We provide :

• Access to the online course materials for at least a year after each course.
• Email based post-training support for delegates for a year after their training.

Training Courses

You can see our full list of PHP Training modules. We run many of these as scheduled courses/workshops, and offer all of them as part of a custom course.

We run monthly one-day workshops on a range of subjects, at a per-person cost. Subjects include Object Orientation, Smarty, Security, Propel and an introduction the Zend Framework. We also occasionally offer our 5 day courses as a scheduled course - normally aimed at new programmers. We can provide courses at your premises for a daily rate for up to five people - perhaps if you want custom training (perhaps tailoring a course to your specific needs) or it's just easier for us to come to you.

Prices

We try to price our courses to make them appeal to individuals and small companies who would normally not be able to justify raining.
